Salvador Corratgé
Cuban (1928 – 2014)
He studied at Aplicadas anexa a la Academia de San Alejandro from 1949-1950 and at the University of Havana from 1950- 1951.
His work was shown in solo exhibitions at Latin Art Core, Miami (2014); the Centro Provincial de Artes Plásticas, Holguín (2007); the Museo de Arte Cubano, Havana (2007); the Museo Universitario Contemporáneo de Arte, Mexico (1996); and Edificio Histórico de la Universidad de Oviedo in Spain (1995).
Corratgé has exhibited in group shows including the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (1994, 2002); the International Graphic Biennial, Maastricht (1993); the 2nd Biennale of Ceramics, Havana (1991); the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (1986); the 2nd Biennial Interamericana, Mexico (1960;, and 1st Biennial of Painting and Printmaking in Mexico (1958).
