Rosabal was born in Manzanillo, Granma, Cuba in August 19th, 1935.
He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, San Alejandro.
Additionally he attended, The Experimental Studio of Graphics in Habana, The Pratt Graphics and Printmaking Center and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Rosabal was member of the cuban artist group “Ten Concrete Painters”.
He is a contemporary living artist residing in New York, he also works on drawing, engraving and even table design.
